Winter tires are made of a softer rubber that allows them to remain flexible in colder climates. However, they wear out more easily as the weather gets warmer. When the temperature drops below 7 degrees, it's time to go back to winter/snow tires.

Summer wiper blades, like summer tires, are made of a different rubber than winter wiper blades and should be replaced when the weather gets colder. Even if your wiper blades aren't designed for summer, they should be inspected and replaced if they're no longer working.

Up to the fill mark, your oil dipstick should indicate an amber color. Fill it up if it's below the fill line. Replace your oil right away if the dipstick is covered in a black, grimy film. Depending on your Toyota, oil can last between 8,000 to 16,000 km.
