High River Toyota is expanding and will soon become Okotoks Toyota. As we grow, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Licensed Automotive Technician to join our team. Salary: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends if needed

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with efficiency, safety, and accuracy, adhering to dealership, factory, and regulatory standards.
  • Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and conduct timely repairs, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Uphold a "fix it right the first time" approach to repair and maintenance services.
  • Conduct road tests to verify service quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide written, prioritized quotes for any additional recommended services.
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about any additional maintenance or repairs required.
  • Maintain personal and company equipment/tools in optimal working condition.
  • Stay current on repair procedures for all vehicle makes and models, including new technologies and systems.
  • Comply with dealership health & safety programs and provincial occupational health and safety regulations.

Major Requirements and Competencies:

  • Licensed Automotive Technician with a proven track record of expertise.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driver's abstract.
  • Clean Police Information Check.
  • Proof of relevant licenses/credentials.
  • Personal tools necessary for the position.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Toyota experience and an Out of Province Permit are considered assets.

Position Overview: 

High River Toyota is growing to soon become Okotoks Toyota in early spring of 2026. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Parts Manager to oversee and optimize our parts department operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to join our team and contribute to the success of High River Toyota by maintaining efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Forecast parts needs, maintain optimal inventory levels, and control inventory to ensure efficiency.
  • Pricing Strategy: Price parts competitively to maintain profitability.
  • Special Orders: Oversee and coordinate special parts orders as required.
  • Staff Leadership: Hire, supervise, and train parts department staff to achieve peak performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the service department to ensure all required parts are available for repair jobs.
  • Inventory Analysis: Conduct yearly inventory checks and manage aged and obsolete parts effectively.
  • Performance and Marketing Goals: Provide input and collaborate with the marketing coordinator to develop strategies that support achieving monthly and yearly parts department goals.
  • Warranty Management: Submit and monitor all parts warranty and return claims.
Skills/Qualifications Required:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Toyota parts department operations.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of parts department financial principles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and managerial skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of management and with customers.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenges effectively.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure setting.
  • Licensing: Valid driver's license is required.
