High River Toyota is immediately seeking an experienced automotive technician. Signing bonus for successful candidates, lucrative and competitive pay structure, performance bonuses, sick pay!

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Weekends if needed). 8 Hour Shifts

Work Location: In person



Position Overview: 

While working within our service department with modern equipment and a dedicated team, the ideal candidate must have the ability to combine automotive expertise with good customer skills. The ideal candidate must also be willing to learn and keep up-to-date with industry standards while contributing to making our facility a leader in the automotive service industry.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Perform work as assigned on work order with efficiency, safety and accuracy in accordance with dealership, factory and regulatory standards
  • Ability to diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunction and perform repairs in a timely manner
  • Fix it right the first time mentality
  • Perform road tests
  • Providing written, prioritized quotations for necessary additional work
  • Notify the service advisor and customer of additional maintenance work as required
  • Perform daily bay inspections
  • Maintain company and your own equipment and tools in good repair
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the operation, maintenance and repair of all makes and models
  • Follow dealership health & safety program and observe provincial occupational health & safety regulations; report any observed or potential hazards immediately
  • Participate/complete all training by Toyota in a timely manner

Skills/Qualifications Required:
  • Mechanical background/knowledge
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Provide Clean Drivers Abstract upon request
  • Provide Clean Police Information Check upon request
  • Provide proof of License/Credentials upon request
  • Bring/provide your own tools as required
  • Ability to provide professional customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to complete tasks according to instructions and demonstrate responsibility for outcomes
  • Toyota experience is an asset
  • Out of Province Permit is an asset

High River Toyota is seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver to join our Parts Department Team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills, build your resume, and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

As a Shipper/Receiver, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the Parts Department. You will be responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies, ensuring that our inventory is accurately maintained and organized. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our dealership. This full-time position also provides room for growth and advancement within the company, making it an excellent choice for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Perform delivery duties as needed
  • Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies 
  • Receive, label, unpack, and verify incoming orders
  • Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Arrange transportation of products
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform physical tasks including loading, unloading, sorting, and moving shipments (lifting up to 50lbs)
  • Maintain company and your own equipment and tools in good repair
  • Comfortable working outdoors if needed
  • Stock daily incoming orders
  • Participate/complete all training by Toyota in a timely manner
  • Additional duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications Required:
  • Clean and valid Driver's Abstract
  • 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving is considered an asset
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (assets)
  • Automotive experience preferred
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as kneeling, standing, and bending
