Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends if needed

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with efficiency, safety, and accuracy.
• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and conduct timely repairs.
• Uphold a fix-it-right-the-first-time approach.
• Conduct road tests to verify service quality.
• Provide written, prioritized quotes for additional recommended services.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers.
• Maintain personal and company equipment/tools.
• Stay current on repair procedures and vehicle technologies.
• Comply with dealership health and safety programs.

Major Requirements and Competencies:

• Licensed Automotive Technician.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driver's abstract.
• Clean Police Information Check.
• Proof of relevant licenses/credentials.
• Personal tools necessary for the position.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Toyota experience and an Out of Province Permit are considered assets.

This position plays a critical role in creating a positive customer experience while supporting the daily efficiency of the service operation. The Service Drive Coordinator / Porter is responsible for greeting customers as they arrive, directing traffic through the service drive, assisting Service Advisors, and safely moving customer vehicles throughout the dealership.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers as they arrive in the service drive.
• Direct vehicles to the appropriate service lane and Service Advisor.
• Assist with maintaining efficient traffic flow through the service drive.
• Safely move customer vehicles between the service drive, technician stalls, parking areas, wash bays, and vehicle delivery areas.
• Stage vehicles for technician workflow and customer pickup.
• Assist Service Advisors with vehicle retrieval and customer deliveries.
• Maintain accurate handling of vehicle keys and key tracking procedures.

Major Requirements and Competencies:

• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License.
• Clean Driver's Abstract.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles including cars, SUVs, and trucks (Manual driving an asset)
