Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with efficiency, safety, and accuracy, adhering to dealership, factory, and regulatory standards.
  • Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and conduct timely repairs, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Uphold a "fix it right the first time" approach to repair and maintenance services.
  • Conduct road tests to verify service quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide written, prioritized quotes for any additional recommended services.
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about any additional maintenance or repairs required.
  • Maintain personal and company equipment/tools in optimal working condition.
  • Stay current on repair procedures for all vehicle makes and models, including new technologies and systems.
  • Comply with dealership health & safety programs and provincial occupational health and safety regulations.

Major Requirements and Competencies:

  • Licensed Automotive Technician with a proven track record of expertise.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driver's abstract.
  • Clean Police Information Check.
  • Proof of relevant licenses/credentials.
  • Personal tools necessary for the position.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Toyota experience and an Out of Province Permit are considered assets.

High River Toyota is looking to add an Auto Detailer who is reliable and has previous experience in the automotive industry. This team member will be primarily based in our detail department, with the opportunity to grow and learn additional skills as the company continues to evolve.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, works well without supervision, and is a quick learner who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Location: High River, AB

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Wash and clean customer and dealership vehicles
  • Operate tools such as power polishers
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the workspace and lot
  • Provide shuttle or courtesy rides for customers if needed
  • Pick up or deliver parts if needed
  • Demonstrate knowledge of WHMIS and ability to work with cleaning chemicals
  • Participate in all Toyota training as required
  • Grow responsibilities and duties alongside the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Major Requirements and Competencies:

  • Able to work independently without supervision
  • Windshield replacements and rock chip repair experience are considered assets
  • Experience in the automotive industry is an asset
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to perform manual labour
  • Previous experience as a Detailer or Lot Attendant is an asset
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • Availability to work Saturdays is required
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Local resident to High River is preferred but not required
